Pumped indeed
Today I woke up with that sweet sensation of whole-body stiffness that one only gets after a complete workout. I suppose I have to conclude that Bodypump is da shit.
Obviously free weights are better than machines that limit your motion. But if this is so good, why was there only one biffig bodybuilder type there? Soon enough I will know which method is really da shit.

Okay Chris, I understand that this styrketräning is going to make you strong, much stronger than me, but, don´t forget that all them muscles are going to be heavy to släpa uppför trapporna i Skatås. Not to mention genom sanden, you´re gonna sjukna som en sten ;-)
What I am training? He-he, short intervals man, like 2x3 + 10x1 + 10x15/15. How often? Several times actually... ;-) In any way, I think you owe me some kind of revenge for the humiliation in the CX races ;-) Since I´m a roadracer (means I would like to be) wouldn´t it be fair to race me on the road some time? :-)

What I am trying to train is balance & strength together because, like you say, big muscles will slow me down. Still, the first couple CX races hurt because I had no upper body strength to lift my bike. Which is pathetic since my bike is only 10kg. =)
Sure, we can race on the road because I am useless on road. In fact, I only have my CX and a 10kg 'racer' is not going to help me. But if we add some nice hills, it could be more interesting.
