Because of my sore ankle and general feeling of blää, I decided to skip Hondacrossen tonight and roll around a bit near home. Honestly, I don't know that this was any more calm. It was dry but FAN it still managed to make me very tired.


Part 1 starts in a grass field similar to Hondacrossen except that the whole field is sloped so the houses are about 10m higher than the road. A few laps on this 1.4km course are good for the legs. Then I rode up the hill towards Björndammen which is a pain no matter when you do it. I passed 3 other cyclists on the way up.


Then, at the trail up to Björndammensterassen I found this little gem of a grass football field...completely abandoned. Again, there was a grass hill of about 5 m so a simple zigzag of this became hell quite soon. To make it worse, I added a running section up the hill and a quick MTB-style trail back to complete the 450m loop.

Very effective 50 minutes. Probably I will feel my ankle even more now but after this I think I can just sit on my ass until the weekend and not feel any guilt.
