Still no sign of my glue but don't worry...I will not make the joke again. Part of the problem during my ride last night may be the shape of the tires themselves...they are getting as bald as I am.
I happened to be near SportSpec on my way home and I remembered their tire corner. I was going to buy Conti's CX Race but they only had one. So by accident I found the Schwalbe CX Pros you see above. Even with the wire they are only 350g each which is actually less than the Conti foldable. And at 209kr each, why not? They are even only 30mm wide so they are legal under new UCI rules. And with a tread like that I should not be slipping so much.
So this will due for a quick-fix/spare wheel until I can get to some gluing.
