And so ends a weekend of top quality cyclocross from Tabor. The Mens Elite race went as I expected with a Stybar taking the title in grand style. Here is a crappy quality clip to encourage you to pay for a cycling.tv membership like I did.


I still can't believe that Sven Nys managed to take 3rd place after falling on the stairs, in a corner and over the first plank. Amazing finish! The Womens Elite was less dramatic with Vos winning by a lot. At least Van den Brand pulled off a 3rd place despite looking quite sick.

And over to Sweden, Nilsson finished an excellent 30th place in U23. Darvell was less fortunate in Elite with a flat tire, a fight with a Spaniard and a vurpa or two. Still, it is great to see them down there trying. I can think of many other top quality cross cyclists in Sweden who are not down there trying.
